You can include Wash, Dry & Fold laundry ($49 per 20-gallon bag), dry cleaning, alterations, comforters, leather, wedding dresses, and household items. Drop everything in one bag or hang dry-cleaning items separately. Our team sorts and processes each item correctly so you do not have to.
Step by Step: What Happens
Here is the full process from sign-up to your laundry coming back. The first time through it takes a few minutes to set up. Every week after that, it takes you about 30 seconds.
Sign Up Online
Head to our customer signup page. Enter your name, address, phone number, email, and a payment method. Pick your service day (Monday, Tuesday, etc., depending on your route). Tell us anything our driver should know, like a gate code, a dog warning, or where exactly to leave the bag. The whole thing takes about 5 minutes.
Get Your First Laundry Bag
After you sign up, your first 20-gallon Model Cleaners laundry bag is delivered to you on your first scheduled pickup day. The bag is yours to keep and use every week. If you need extra capacity, additional bags are $7.50 each. Just let us know.
Get the Text Reminder
The evening before your scheduled service day, around 6 PM, you get a text from us. It looks something like: "Hi, this is Model. Tomorrow is your pickup day. Reply Y to confirm pickup or N to skip." That is it. One letter response.
Fill Your Bag
That night or the next morning, fill your laundry bag with whatever needs cleaning. Wash, Dry & Fold can all go in the same bag. For dry cleaning, you can put items in the same bag too, or hang them on a hanger and tie them to the bag handle so they are easy for our driver to grab. Add any special notes (heavy stain, special handling) on a piece of paper inside the bag.
Leave the Bag Outside
Before your scheduled pickup time, leave your bag outside your front door, in your hallway (for apartments and condos), or wherever you noted at signup. You do not have to be home. Our driver picks it up and continues on the route.
We Clean Everything
Your laundry is taken to our facility, where it is sorted, tagged, and processed. Wash, Dry & Fold gets washed in commercial-grade machines (separately from other customers' laundry), dried, and hand-folded. Dry cleaning goes through our GreenEarth eco-friendly process. Alterations, when included, are completed by our seamstress team.
Cleaned Laundry Comes Back
Most orders are returned within 2 to 3 business days. Pickup days follow a route schedule, so most customers get their laundry back on the same day of the following week. Folded items are stacked neatly in your bag. Dry cleaning comes back on hangers in plastic. You will know it is yours by the tag.
Automatic Billing
Your saved payment method is charged automatically. You receive an itemized email receipt every time. No cash, no checks, no payment at the door. You can update your card or change preferences any time through your account.
What If You Forget?
This is the most common worry from new customers. Real answer: nothing happens. Our driver arrives, sees no bag, and skips your stop. You will be back on the schedule the next service day with no missed-pickup fee, no penalty, no reschedule call.
